Chinese and China Trade porcelain, British and European ceramics, and Native American Pottery
Philip Suval, Inc. was established in 1896 and is one of the worlds foremost ceramics dealers. While the emphasis is decidedly on the finest China Trade porcelain from the late 17th century to the early 19th century, the firm also deals in 18th and early 19th century British pottery and 17th and 18th century Dutch Delft faience. In addition, the firm has introduced some very fine Native American pottery, particularly from the pueblos of the southwest.
Until 1983 Philip Suval, Inc. maintained shops on 57th Street and Madison Avenue, New York City. From 1983 to the present, they have exhibited only at fine antiques shows in the eastern U.S. We now exhibit only at the Washington Winter Show, the New York Ceramics and Glass Fair, and the Philadelphia Antiques Show.
