For the Paris International Exhibition of 1900 he produced a Loie Fuller buckle incorporating draped ribbons and showing a great deal of movement. For illustrations of his work See "The Paris Salons 1895-1914 Jewellery II The Designers" Pages 220-221. In 1892, Loie Fuller at the Follies Bergere, had spectacular success with lights and mirrors and Fuller became the inspiration for numerous sculptors. This new symbolism mixed with the previous theme of libidinous, dangerous and lustful femme fatale as expressed in vampire imagery, was instrumental in Loie Fullers´┐Ż metamorphosis on stage from bat to woman.
